its come to the end of another month meaning its time for another monthly favourites.

YouTube
iv mentioned ItsWayPastMyBedTime or Carrie Hope Fletcher before on my blog but this month iv been obsessed especially with her original songs so please go check her out. If your into gaming on youtube you may know TheSyndicateProject well known as Tom has daily vlogging channel SyndicateCentral I watch his vlogs everyday watching him get drunk (a lot), travelling and trying new things. I love him motto in life definitely recommend him for anyone even if you are not into gaming he is still so funny and grate fun to watch. CalFreezy iv been subscribed to calfreezy for a while, I love his vlogs and challenges with his room mates, he is also a gamer I spent a lot of January watching his videos and live streams. and the final channel this month is Lisa Schwarts she is so funny. she is an everyday tomboy who isn't like the normal beauty people on youtube. she tests girl products, hacks and she talks about a lot of serious things but she makes them okay to talk about she makes it okay to laugh at sex and things we all do and never admit to.

hair
So I haven't done much with my hair this month I just wanted to tell you what iv been doing with my hair. iv been letting it dry naturally having very wavy hair it can look really nice when drying naturally, however because of a bad hair chose iv got very frizzy hair and iv mentioned before I use John Frieda frizz ease products on my hair trying to tame it. during January iv been tying my top section back with a big clip or a hair band just trying to get some of it off my face when working at home or in college.

Beauty
I'm going to start with an Ebay product. its a contour/ concealer palette, I got this for Christmas but I use this everyday , it comes with a pink and green concealer and 12 skin colours so you will defiantly be able to make your skin tone with these, I actually use the darkest shade to contour my face on a daily basis I do love this product so much. this palette comes with an angled brush which has quickly became my favourite brush, I love the look and the feel of this brush its perfect for contouring. I will defiantly be doing a full review for this product.
this is a essential for my makeup bag its MUA pro-base primer I think its £4 maybe £5 but no more it defiantly does what the bottle says making your makeup seem flawless and I love it, it makes my makeup stay on longer and its the perfect size just to slip into your makeup bag if your travelling.
this is my favourite thing for a natural look but you still want to make it look like you made and effort its Miss Selfridge nude lip gloss. its a shimmery nude/ pink colour I really like the look I'm not to fond of the texture of it, but I really like this colour it gives a lot a looks a bit more class. however when looking to link it I couldn't find it so it may be discontinued so I would defiantly look into it. I do say a little goes a long way so you don't need to use too much.
Rimmel lasting finish lipstick in the shade coffee shimmer 264, is a shimmery brown colour. I love this lipstick so much its my go to colour. I would like to have it in a matt colour in this shade. I love the smell it feels like I don't have anything on my lips which I really like and it does last a long time however if you are wearing it for a long time like 4/5 hours I would reapply just to make the full effect last.
W7 lipbomb is so cool I love this so much. the smells of all 3 of the lip bombs is so nice, I love the packaging and it really does help your dry lips in the winter. I think this is really cool for the go, put it in your bag and go it think its really nice, I cant rave about how nice this has made my lips feel so happy with this.
Eye Candy is a brand iv used for a long while when its come to lashes I try others but always end up back with them I really like them in all styles, the natural and the big dramatic ones. The glue that comes with the lashes is amazing the best glue iv ever bought. its so easy to use and it goes on white then when tacky it goes blue before drying clear.
elegant touch supernova nails these are so pretty! look good with almost any colour outfit. I really like the shape and length of theses nails the glue is really good it keeps them on for 24-48 hours with out falling off this may not be correct depending how much your hands are in water but I got these for Christmas and a pack of 25 have lasted me all month.
Makeup revolution 12 shade eyeshadow palette in the shade iconic elements I use this everyday. I love this palette, a lot of my palettes are shimmer so to have a fully matt palette is really good for me. it gives me a natural look just because its all nudes and browns which I don't mind but some people do I am going to do a full review for this palette in February so keep a look out for that
W7 in the night this is really pretty palette especially if you want a smokey eye but they are all shimmer apart form the black but they are extremely pigmented and don't have a lot of fall out
W7 in the nude I really like this palette it has 9 shimmery shades and 3 matt shades.once again its really pigmented as the palettes get darker the lighter colours are not that pigmented but its really nice for a natural look
W7 in the buff 3 matt shades and 9 shimmery shades this is the perfect brown smokey eye its got really pretty copper shades as well you do have to build to get the desired colour but I really do think its worth it. With all W7 products i find the price is grate for the product. with some being really good dopes for well known products with such grate quality
Alberto balsam shampoo. iv put this In beauty instead of hair because I use this to wash my makeup brushes, I do this my squirting a bit on my hand and work the shampoo into the brush and rinse it out and I repeat this if you want a blog on how I wash and dry my brushes then let me know.

furniture and home wear
I know its quite a weird thing to have in a blog but I have definitely been enjoying theses things lately
nail varnish wall mount I got this for my collection of nail varnish, I never use all the colours I have because I didn't know what colours I had so having them on the wall is great I can actually see what colours I have.
lipstick holder this was something my mum got me for my office, I really like this it helps me keep my lipstick and stuff in order I like this a lot I cant press it enough.
 LED mirror I got this for my office as well so I can do makeup for pictures.
nail clips this is to see what the colour of the nail varnish is instead of looking at the bottle which can be misleading on the picture attached it has a purple nail polish but I'm not showing you the polish but the clip

this month iv been binge watching Jurassic park and Jurassic world. love these movies so much, its a timeless classic

Music
this month Iv been loving Nine Track Mind by Charlie Puth I love this album, I know every word and it came out a few days ago its a killer album honestly with features from Selena Gomez, Meghan Trainor and Shy Carter I honestly see this album going really far.
Panic! At The Disco Death Of A Bachelor is such a good album released in the middle of the month iv been binge listening there is some grate belting songs on this album not going to lie maybe the best album of theirs iv ever bought
KSI Keep UP is his first EP iv talked a lot about KSI I'm a huge fan hes really got me into grime and exploring different types of music he is really such a good musician as much as he gets teased his rapping is grate. the first rap EP iv ever bought and now it defiantly wont be the last. it was released on the 1st of the month going to number 1 in album charts in so many different places he really
deserves it

Mental Health
candles have helped so much with my anxiety this month iv had quite a hard month for my mental health so if defiantly needed these this month

Books
this month I'm currently on my 3rd book which I will update you on when I finish but the first book was really good but was under editing so I don't want to post about it until they have finished editing fully so I'm going to post you the link to the post I did early this week on a book iv read so I hope you enjoyed it The Bad Boy Saw Me Naked

Accessories and clothing
the first thing I want to talk about socks. for Christmas I always get lodes of socks but ones I wanted to talk about are my harry potter socks, I got these from my auntie along with tickets to go to harry potter world in London which I'm writing up at the moment so it wont take long till you can read that but I love these socks iv got one for every house, they are so comfortable and soft to wear.
also from harry potter I got a harry potter rugby style top its so comfy and its quite big for a small it was quite expensive but I will wear it a lot i wanted to get a large so it would always fit but with sizing i think it will fit for a long time.
choker chain i got this intending it to be a choker but i bought the length too long but i bought a chain so i can change the pendent. the chain and pendents are all from crazy factory
the first pendent i bought was a hope pendent i believe hope is something i don't do very often i don't hope or think of the positive side of things very often so i got this to remind me to hope for the positive in life
the second pendent i got was the moon and stars i love the moon i think its so pretty so i got this one however it also has a very personal meaning to me which i don't wish to share
the last pendent i got was a angel wing because around the time i found it i was thinking about my uncle who passes in early December and i want a way to remember he is always with me i thought it was quite a cute idea
since i got a new phone for Christmas i wanted a case to keep it safe so i bought a disney phone case with stitch on i have fond memories for stitch and i really liked this case it looks so sweet on my black phone
then without knowing my mum also got me a glitter phone case its green and so pretty and i sit playing with it for ages it keeps me distracted i really like it
iv been wearing a lot of beanies lately i cant find the one iv got so I found one similar here

today I'm really really excited to tell you about one of my favourite books iv read, ever. so I want to start a series where I talk about books iv read recently as well as my monthly favourites just because I can read a few books a month and I only choose my favourite for my favourites.

today I wanted to tell you about a book iv been reading and ill link it here but its called the bad boy saw me naked. I loved this book so much, and I defiantly found a beautifully and heart warming meaning behind it and honestly I cried a little...im not ashamed.

This is the story of a good girl named Harper and a bad boy named Alex. this is the story of how they met and challenges they had to go through to have a relationship with each other. the story includes domestic abuse and family values to look up to.

my first impression of the book, is that I wasn't so intrigued in the blurb but the title. however the opening chapter gripped me and I became addicted. reading chapters after chapters every night. 

the writer known on Wattpad as The_Muffin_Dude got the idea of the book from the typical 'Bad Boy' books you get on Wattpad which I have spoken about a few already on the blog. she explained she wanted to 'mix it up' she did this by using social issues and her own personal issues for inspiration

despite no intentionally meaning behind the book The_Muffin_Dude expressed her hope that
people will connect and learn with the moral lessons such as the bad boyfriend and domestic abuse. for me it showed the importance of family, selflessness and not judging a book by its cover. it showed this in many ways; how Harper cares for her mum and tries to protect her, when Harper puts herself in danger to help protect the ones she loves, in the beginning of the book Harper judges the 'River boys' because of their harsh reputation.

The_Muffin_Dude only being 14 when she wrote the story line she is a truly talented writer actually writing the book at the age of 16 she has a huge amount of views on her book. 4.9 million reads, 202k votes and 34 chapters this book has really taken off. Also having 11.3k followers and 3 books, her other books are so good I defiantly recommend reading all the books shes written

 She explained the hardest part about writing the book was trying not to over characterise. wanting some people to remain almost mysteries. I think this defiantly effective to the story and to the characters I find some people give so much character to every person they introduce, yes it can make you connect with them more however I find its so much better to give the characters no background so we as readers can actually create them and so it doesn't take to much attention away from the main characters.

"its strange how fast this is happening. It feels like a jigsaw puzzle that's nearly finished but we cant find the pieces fast enough."

this is such a beautiful quote from the book I can defiantly can relate this to my every day life being in such a hurry to get things done that we cant take in the beauty of life and when we get older we can defiantly feel like our lives have been not wasted but spent so much hurrying to get to the next point in life we wished the one we already have away.

after anxiety attacks

you don't have to control your thoughts. you just have to stop letting them control you- dan millman

hey there
today after a hard week for me anxiety wise I wanted to share with you what I do to help me after the anxiety attacks.

1. happy memories, I watch a video on youtube on put in my headphones to try to help me breathe, it helps me remember good times and it also helps me focus on something. if I'm focusing on something I'm more likely to calm down and forget about the situation I'm in

2. smells, I find things that smell a nice relaxing factor. I have candles that I like to burn. I know this doesn't help if your not at home however if your out I like to carry a smelly lip balm or a something that gives off a smell and if you hate drawing attention to yourself you can even carry something with a soft sent so you don't stink of what ever your carrying

3. laugh, when I first got anxiety I had depression and it was a deep depression and I hardly ever smiled I couldn't look anyone in the eye without wanting to cry so I wanted to feel something and when I did feel something it was always in the form of laughter, I would watch comedies or Lee Evens anyone who made me laugh it would always distract me

4. talk to someone, I have the most of my panic attacks at college and I'm lucky enough to have a support worker who is there to help me so when I have a pain attack I talk to my support worker about what triggered it and what they can do to help prevent me having another. if that's not possible then talk to a friend or a family member who can help and understand because I understand that a lot of people don't understand mental health and I can honestly say iv had more than enough experience with people who don't understand

and finally

5. positive self talk, to know its okay to panic is important, we cant be cool and calm about everything, everybody panics but in their own way if yours is having a pain attack than that's okay but having one every time you are worried or stressed isn't

today I wanted to tell you about something I found completely by accident. my makeup brushes for college are trashed so I wanted to go get some new brushes so I went to Pompadour and the only ones they had was GLOW  brushes, so I got these purple ones because they looked so pretty, I used them once and they are by far the best brushes iv ever bought. £6.99 for 12 brushes honestly they just do look so pretty and they feel really nice to use. they also clean so well, I thought with them being white and purple it would leave them stained but they have washed beautifully. they are so nice to use that I bought a second set for my own personal use and I honestly love them.  They feel so nice on the skin and definitely exceeded my expectations! Not only do I love the brushes themselves but the holder is so pretty. I love each brush and have used them all

it comes with a lip brush, an angled liner brush, an angled eyeshadow brush, a concealer brush, a foundation brush, a slope brush, powder brush, duo fibre brush, cream eyeshadow brush, crease brush, large eyeshadow brush, eyeshadow blending brush. all these for £6.99!

these brushes are so sturdy, they are wonderful to clean and honestly so pretty.

I love the holder they come in. its a deep purple with almost a snake skin look (obviously its not real) its not a plastic case, so it will last a long time and wont crack. its also quite small so it would work if you wanted to travel with them its compact so its a grate travel set.

I'm sorry I haven't been uploading recently I needed to clear my head for a while but I'm back and I'm going to upload more frequently. I'm also going to start doing an #EbayFinds on the blog to show you the little things iv been buying and what I rate them, so look forward to that iv also got a Harry Potter blog going up soon from my visit to the studios in London last week so look forward to that coming soon

movie favourites

today I wanted to talk to you about my favourite movies. I'm a huge movie fan. I love sad movies, cute movies, classic movies, true stories and children's movies. some of these are actually books too so ill tell you why they are my favourites

I want to start with a classic

juassic park
I love juassic park, even if it is six years older then me being made in 1993. I love this film so much, not only do I love the poor graphics but the cast and every time I watch it I get goose pimples just by the memories that the film brings back. iv always had an interest in dinosaurs and everything they do and how they died I really love this film and juassic world is defiantly a close second I cant explain how excited I was when they annoced it and the excitement was defiantly met. juassic wold was amazing  chris patt did a grate job!

the next film on my list is also my favourite book

the fault in our stars.
love the book. love the movie. honestly this film is really close to me. my cousin had a rear bone cancer similar to the main boy character. when seeing it at the cinema I walked out sobbing. just because of how much it reminded me of my cousin but its a truly beautiful story and such loveable characters

Scooby doo

I loved Scooby doo as a child and I still do. I love the live action movies and the cartoon movies. it reminds me of hours with my brother watching it, it was probably the best times me and my brother spent together I love all of the movies just because iv fallen in love with the characters over the years. if the relased the same style of cartoon now that they did when I was a kid it would be completely different.

the muppets

I love almost all of the muppet films. but the newest two are defiantly my favourites I remember watching them every Christmas with my mum, and as they released the newer ones I was starting a new part in my life but The Muppets is all about getting back together and having a new start which was a grate kick start to a new part of my life

harry potter

I love all of the harry potter films because as I grew up they did with me. I loved the idea of wizards in the world and all the magic kept me believing and wanting to be in harry potter as a child. this is defiantly part of growing up I will always remember

angus, thongs and perfect snogging

this is also a book but I haven't read it. this came out in my early teens and this was the start to my teenage years I felt like a proper women when watching this. I felt like lizzie McGuire so as you can image I felt so much older then I actually was however I found the film so funny and its a grate first chick flick

gone girl

love love love this film this is as close to a horror that I come to due to the fact I'm such a scardy pants I love the mystery behind it. I love how they made it seem like she is dead with out giving anything away. I was disappointed and confused by the ending however I found it so addicting I couldn't take my eyes off the screen. I'm told the book is so much better so that's defiantly on my to read list

beastly

I love this film any way but the cast is amazing. its based on beauty and the beast which I love so when I seen this film with my aunty for the first time it was amazing to me finding a girl who loved a guy with such a shocking curse on him, this teaches kids that beauty isn't just on the outside and I think that's why I like this film so much

my final movie and my favourite

my sisters keeper

this was the first film I watched that made me cry. its about a girl with cancer and her test tube sister who was born just to help her sister get better. this is her true story about how she won the  rights to her body. this is a heart warming story of true sisterly love and honestly you get so emotionally invested with this film it brings you to tears watching it. I haven't met anyone who hasn't loved the movie after watching it.

Chill ed stain: Review

 lifes too short to have boring hair

if you follow me on twitter or Instagram youll know about my hair change, I'm naturally a really dark ginger and over my years iv been black a few times, red, brown a couple of times and iv blonde hightlights a few times and in late December I had my hair ombre blonde and just before Christmas I dyed it turquoise at the ends it looks kind of green but I really like it. I used the Chill ed stain to dye it its a semi permeant wish in wash out dye.

purple
blue
berry
pink
cherry
red
orange
yellow
and the line also has a toner to make pastel colours

I bought it in store where I picked up a 'colour guide' which tells you what colours are available and what to mix  together to get what colour

red+blue= maroon
red+yellow= peach
blue+yellow= green
cherry+ berry= yummy red
pink+ toner= soft pink
blue+ toner= baby blue
purple+ toner= lilac
orange+ toner= soft peach

I find this so easy to use, I'm completely useless with hair I cant do anything and what I love about this product is how easy it is to use. I squeeze it out of the tube and a rub it on my shampooed hair wait 15-30 minuets  then wash it out and its that easy. I really like how easy is to apply and how beautiful the colours come out to be.

I will definitely will buying this I'm in love with the colour and I really like how easy it is meaning I haven't got to wait for someone to help me around the back of my head its so quick, simple and easy. I do recommend wearing gloves when applying because it will stain your hands, however if you get it on a work surface wipe it off as quickly as you can and it wont stain I also recommend wearing a dark tshirt or a dark towel over your shoulders just to make sure it wont stain your clothes.

when its applied to the area that's wanted wrap it in clean film when it says apply heat, then leave for 15- 30 minuets depending on the strength of the colour or depending on how much of the hair that needs covering  then just wash it out dry it and then your done.

I honestly love this product so much its so easy to use and  I cant recommend this enough especially for the price of £10 I cant say how much I love the product and the price

my 2016 goals and palns

this is a new year. a new beginning. and things will change - taylor swift

hello friends,
Happy New Year! hope your having a good one so far. today I wanted to talk today about new year resolutions. As I'm sure a lot of you are like me, have a new years resolution do it for a month or two then you give up or just forget about it, this has been the story of my life since I started trying to keep any resolutions but this year I'm determined to get to my goals.

this year I have a list of things I want to do or goals I want to achieve and iv find its better to write stuff down, I find as someone who has anxiety lists help me a lot, it helps me get stuff done because I'm very forgetful and if I forget something I get very stressed and I also find if I achieve my goals I like to cross them out I find it a lot easier to cross stuff out so its not stressing me out

I also think we should aim high when choosing goals not only this year but in life but I also think we shouldn't put unrealistic goals in place, that's why this year I haven't put anything huge like travel to Australia iv put things I feel like stop biting my nails.

so here is my list of what I want to do this year and a little explanation ;

• stop hording:

      so I'm really bad at hording (keeping things that don't need to be kept) I'm not so bad with keeping things like my first shoes or anything like that I'm bad with food and  clothes. I'm the person who loves food, iv mentioned before that I'm on the bigger size but I'm not 'fat' but in my house if you don't move and hide things then you wont get it, so especially after Christmas when there is so much sweets and chocolate in the house if you don't move it and keep it in your room then by the end of January then its gone. I'm also horde clothes, I believe in things like 'lucky underwear' but I have lucky jeans, lucky tshirt and lucky socks and things like tshirts I cant see all of them in my chest of draws then ill just wear the ones I remember I own so if I cant see it I end up keeping it for years

• stop biting my nails

       this has been the one goal iv had every year and to be fair I will do it but if I get stressed ill bite my nails then I struggle not biting them again so that's why this is on my list

• get to 8 stone

         I have no clue of how much I actually weigh I haven't been weighed for 2 years but I know I'm 'fat' and I'm heavy for my age I'm really exited about this I'm looking forward to having a good body for the summer and making me feel better about myself

• blog twice a week or more

       if you don't know I'm at college at the moment and with course work iv got a lot on but I want to get more consistent with this blog and post more, I want to post sunday, Wednesday and maybe Friday depending on work load but I will starting from today will stick to these days

• finish college

      so as iv mentioned a few times I'm at college studying hair and media makeup i really want to finish this year, and hopefully pass English because I'm also taking maths and English along side my course so I'm planning on finishing this year and going from there I'm not sure what i want to do next year but i know i want to at somepoint study criminology but I'm not sure whats next for me

• get more body modifications

      this is part of my journey of finding myself and finding my sense of style. they make me feel better about myself and i really like how i look with them

• save more money

       I'm actually really good with saving money i would like to do more so, so i can open my own salon and i can afford to do things with friends and do things with my family.

• have more self belief

      i have very little self belief in my work and in myself as a person. I'm very effected by what others say and think this is defiantly shown very recently in college making me believe that I'm not good at my job nor am i good at anything i try

• find and do what makes me happy

       at the moment i know things i enjoy but i haven't got anything that truly makes me happy so finding something that does and doing it i have a habit of not taking care of myself and not giving myself time to relax so finding something that makes me happy is very useful
