Taylor Swift inspired makeup

You know a woman means business when she puts on red lipstick
Hello beautiful

Welcome to day 11 of 14days of makeup! Today iv done a no effort Taylor Swift inspired look, based on this picture.
this is a super quick and easy look especially for beginners and looks so nice dressed up or dressed down

I started this look by applying my simple kind to skin hydrating light moisturiser and lightly worked it into the skin. I used a colour correction concealer under my eyes to brighten them up and blended them in with my RealTechniques setting brush, I then continued by applying my Rimmel match perfection foundation on a foundation brush and blended it out with a stippling brush and made sure to blend down my neck. I then used a cream contour and an angled brush to blend into the hair line on my cheek bones, jaw, temples and nose. I then use Makeup Revolution highlighter. just before I finished my face I then applied my translucent powder by Kryolan

For eyes I wanted to go very simple and very easy to do. I used 2 colours and an eyeliner its that easy for anyone to do. For the eyeshadows I used Collection eyes uncovered eyeshadows in the Nude palette. I used shade 3 Biscuit all over the lid in a patting motion to get the most colour, this colour is a shimmer nude so you can use any shimmer nude you have you haven't got to go get this palette. The next colour I used was shade 4 Chocolate milk. this is a warm toned shimmer brown and I blended it in my crease with a fluffy brush and blended in up. I then got my gel eyeliner by Collection  applied it to my water line and using a accent brush blended it down. I then got my slim tip liquid eyeliner by L'Oreal Paris and started at my outer eye and drew a line up from the corner of my eye then from the top of the line drawing one diagonally down and filling in the rest however you haven't got to do it this way do it however you feel comfortable. I next applied my mascara which is Great Lash by Maybelline. For a more dressy look you can apply fake lashes too for a more dramatic look.

I then filled in my eyebrows using W7 Brow Parlour

finally lips I used my favourite lip cream by MENOW in the shade 11. However for a more Taylor Swift look a lipstick that I love and it looks like the one she has on in the picture I would use Rimmel Londons lipstick in the shade alarm

Hope you liked day 11 of 14 days of makeup. I love this look ill happily wear this out on a night out or on a trip to the supermarket its so versatile. If you want me to cover anything leave a comment or tweet me @p_a_pblog and to be the first to see what iv gotten up to follow my Instagram. See you tomorrow with day 12!

Glitter eyeliner

If life throws crap at you cover it in glitter.
Hello gorgeous

Today its day 10 of 14 days of makeup and how its gone super fast. I did this really pretty golden winged eyeliner using glitter. This look is super pretty with a dark smokey eye. I did a dark Smokey eye i will link the technique so you can find it easily.

To start this look I started with my simple facial toner, then applied my simple kind to skin hydrating light moisturiser. I first used my Infallible mattifying base primer by L'Oréal Paris, I then used my colour correcting concealer wanting to conceal my dark circles under my eyes and any redness on the skin i then covered cover this with my rimmel hide the blemish concealer in the shade '001 ivory'. I then use my high coverage foundation which is L'Oréal Paris infallible 24h-matte in the lightest shade '10 porcelain', which is a slightly darker shade than my natural skin tone, to give me a slight tan. I blended it down my neck and over my ears using a RealTechniques expert face brush. I then used NYX wonder stick for a cream contour on my nose, cheek bones, temples and jaw. then going over it with MUA contour and sculpt duo to lock the cream contour in place. I continued to highlight my nose and under eye. I finished my face with Kryolan translucent powder.

For the eyes, i wanted to keep the eyeshadow on the minimal to draw attention to the gold eyeliner. I used 'Wedge' by MAC all over my lid and used 'Texture' and 'Swiss chocolate' both by MAC in my crease and blending it up.
For the eyeliner to get a straight line, i used tape going from my bottom lash line and up to create a clean edge. I used Benefit lash glue to stick the glitter on the eye. I used a lip brush to apply the glue to the desired area and using a small accent brush patting on the glitter. The glitter I'm using is by MAC however you can loose glitter from anywhere and from any colour, however make sure the glitter is eye safe. I then do the same thing i would with eyeliner dragging the glue across my eye and then patting on the glitter. I then finished the eye with mascara and fake lashes by Eylure

I then filled in my eyebrows using W7 brow parlour.
I didn't use any lipstick with this look however if i used the Smokey eye iv done previously, i would use the same shade lipstick by MENOW shade 11 which is a dark red.

Hope you liked day 10 of 14 days of makeup if you want me to cover anything leave a comment or tweet me @p_a_pblog and to be the first to see what iv gotten up to follow my Instagram. See you tomorrow with day 11!

colourful festival makeup

On a bad day there is always lipstick
Hello beautiful,

Welcome to day 9 of 14 days of makeup. Even thought I'm not going to a festival this summer I wanted to show you a festival look for this time of year when a lot of people are starting to go to festivals.
This look was really so much fun to do and this look works with so many different colours so you haven't got to go with purple and blue.
I started with my simple facial toner, then carried on with my simple kind to skin hydrating light moisturiser. I first used my Infallible mattifying base primer by L'Oréal Paris, I then used my colour correcting concealer wanting to achieve a flawless complexation, and cover this with my rimmel hide the blemish concealer in the shade '001 ivory'. I then used rimmel hide the blemish concealer in the shade 'natural baige' for a cream contour on my nose, cheek bones, temples and jaw. then going over it with MUA contour and sculpt duo to lock the cream contour in place. I continued to highlight my nose and under eye. I finished my face with Kryolan translucent powder.

I next moved on to drawing on and filling in my brows i first outlined the shape of the brow i wanted and drew it on using MUA eyebrow pencil and continued to fill them in using W7 Brow Parlour.
For the eyes i wanted to go for bright out there colours so i went for purple and blue for the eyeshadow and multi colours for the eyeliner on the waterline and the flick on the lid. for the eyeliner this is the body paint I'm using HERE. I started with a baby blue eyeshadow and patting it all over my lid and up in the crease. I then did the same with the hot pink/ purple eyeshadow but only taking it half way across my lid. I then did the same with my under eye. For my eyeliner i took a thin angled brush, taking a bit of different colours and dotting them along my water line and doing different colour for each eye

I then did the little cat wing eyeliner with different colours for each eye with one eye i used blue in the inner corners and on the eye other eye uses pink. I then applied mascara to give my eyes a bit of normality, the mascara iv used was by GOSH xtream.

To give a bit more of a festival look i used a lip brush to draw (a badly drawn) star under my right eye and over my left eye. I then used the rounded the end of the lip brush, dipped it in the paint and draw dots over and under my eye.

For the lip shade its a cheep  lip gloss in a dark pink colour but i wanted this colour to be quite tame compared to the eyes. Its a super nice colour however it isn't very pigmented
I hope you liked day 9 of 14 days of makeup. This is such a cute fun look and its such an easy pretty look going to a festival or having a party with friends. If you recreate this look tweet me @p_a_pblog or tag me on Instagram. also follow me on Instagram and twitter to see the first look of the day and to keep up with the looks. no makeup makeup day

the greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing women they look better in the makeup- Macklemore
Hey beautiful
welcome to day 8 of 14 days of makeup. This is a makeup look I use a lot when I'm feeling lazy and cant be bothered to do a full face of makeup or if I'm wearing a particularly bold outfit and want to tone down my makeup I really like this look.

This is also a super quick look and grate for beginners in makeup and are not used to wearing it everyday.

This look literally took me 10 minuets, the longest thing I did was blend my foundation.

For my face I started with my facial cleanser by simple then my moisturiser by simple . I continued by applying my colour correcting concealer focusing on my under eye and my redness on spots and on my cheeks using my RealTechiques setting brush to blend in my concealer . I then applied a light weight day to day foundation which is rimmel patch perfection foundation on my stippling brush by RealTechniques and blending in a circular motion all over my face and neck. I then finished my face with translucent powder.
I then drew in my eyebrows, starting with rimmel londons professional eyebrow pencil to draw on the shape of my eyebrows and then filled them in with brow parlour by W7, setting them with setting gel or with translucent powder.

For the lips I used a W7 lip bomb all over my lips, it gives it a slight shine making it seem like you've put a lot more effort in the way you look, however its still really moisturising
For the eyes, I first lined my waterline with a cream/ yellow/white eyeliner by MUA I used this to give my eyes a more open effect. I then used In The City eyeshadow palette by W7 I started by applying the colour 'Brass' which is a very light toned brown all over the lid and then applying 'Touch' which is a slight more nude colour over 'Brass' and to give a slight bit more depth I used 'Autumn' which is a cool toned brown in the crease and blended it up. I then applied my favourite mascara Great Lash by MAYBELLINE  on my top and bottom eyelashes

I hope you liked day 8 of 14 days of makeup. This is such a natural look and so easy if your a beginner and its so quick. If you recreate this look tweet me @p_a_pblog or tag me on Instagram. also follow me on Instagram and twitter to see the first look of the day and to keep up with the looks. I'm really looking forward to tomorrows blog post. I hope to see you on day 8 of 14 days of makeup

Spring Makeup

Out with the old, in with the bold
Hello my friends

I wanted to say happy Easter and happy spring. Today were half way through its day 7 of 14 days of makeup. I wanted to show you a nice happy spring look.
This look was so much fun to make up as I was going. I cant tell you how long I sat there thinking what colour I was going to put on my eyes.
I started this look with a my colour correcting concealers. then applying a lightweight foundation by benefit as it gives a nice coverage and is a beautiful lightweight foundation for spring/ summer. I then use a cream contour on my cheek bones, jaw line, nose and temple I then blended it up to avoid any harsh lines and then going over the contour with  powder contour by MUA. I continued to apply a light blush on the apples of my cheek the blush is sugarbomb by benefit.  I then finished my face with applying translucent powder all over my face.

I then drew on my eyebrows with W7 eyebrow palette
for the eyes I wanted to go bright and bold. To began I started patting a coral pink all over the lid of the eye, until I got a bright pink I was happy with. I then went in with a purple/ pink colour with a fluffy brush and blended this in the crease and up but making sure there was no harsh lines blending down slightly but not enough to cover the coral colour on the lid. Then going over the purple/ pink colour with a hot pink I did this several times to give a bright pink. I focused this coloured on the outer corner of the eye and blending it towards the inner of the eye. I then used the same hot pink on the outer corner on my waterline I applied this using an accent brush. I then used the purple/ pink colour in the middle of the eye blending it into the hot pink, I then did the same with the coral pink blending into the purple/ pink. I also used a skin tone colour in my tear-duct as a highlight. I finished the eye look with eyeliner on my waterline and blending it down slightly and completely finished the eyes with mascara.

I finally finished the look with the lips using a nivea lip balm then going over with nude lip gloss

I hope you liked day 7 of 14 days of makeup. This is such a fun look for Easter or for a fun spring/ summer day out or festival. 50s style lip

Give a woman the right lipstick and she can conquer the world
Hello darlings,
welcome to day 6 of 14 days of makeup its going so fast! today I want to show you my 50s inspired lip look.

I started this look with my face. I first applied a matte primer by LOreal Paris. Then applied my colour correcting concealer on any redness and on my under eyes. I then covered my face in my day- time foundation which gives me a uplifting look and a nice amount of coverage which is rimmel London's match perfecting foundation. I then use the darkest colour in my favourite contour and concealer palette using it on my temples, jaw and cheek bones. I continue to go over the contoured areas very lightly with a powdered contour. I finished my face finally with translucent powder

I continued to fill in my eyebrows, using an eyebrow powder by W7

For eyes I wanted to go quite natural with nude/cream/golden colour. I first started by blending 'texture' by MAC in my crease and up. Then 'Honesty' by MAC on my lid, applying in a patting motion to gain the most colour and to get the shadow to last longer. To blend the two colours together I used 'Wedge' by MAC, to give it a multitoned look as well as a golden look. I also went over 'Wedge' with a small amount of 'Stable' by MAC on a fluffy brush. I used the tape method to get a nice clean look on the eyeshadow and eyeliner. The eyeliner I'm using is by LOreal Paris I paired this look with a small flick cat eyeliner look I also put eyeliner on my waterline however I blended it out to give a Smokey look on my bottom eyelid. I then applied my mascara which is by MAYBELLINE I then paired this with natural lashes however this look still looks really nice without the fake lashes and the eyeliner.

Finally the best part of the look, the lips. my favourite lip colour is red so I really like this look. I first used a lip primer by NYX I then used a lip pencil in the shade 'burgundy' by MAC with a bright red lipstick by rimmel London in the shade 'Alarm'.
I then finished the look with a setting spray by NYX

I hope you liked day 6 of 14 days of makeup. This is a beautiful look for partying or going for a date.
