2015 favourites/ december favourites

a new year is on its way and the possibilities are endless

 so my friends as one year ends another begins. this year for me has had its ups and downs but its about look back on theses times and learn from them.

youtube
iv definitely found a love for Disney vloggers @thingamavlogs I love this channel so much! they talk about Disneyland and new films and all the up-to-date with everything Disney. I love this channel so much I just reminds me of being a kid. this a repeat from last months the sidemen have helped me so much this month for so many different reasons without getting soppy they have helped me a lot this month and year so thank you sidemen. the next person is @neilmcneil (real name)  I love him iv been subscribed for almost a year and I love him and his boyfriend and the content he puts out there. my almost favourite beauty/ body art youtuber is  madeyelook by lex I love her. a lot of people say her voice is too harsh but I don't mind it when you get past her voice and focus on her work shes a true artist. the last person I only found a few days ago and that's Jack maynard I found his channel because his brother Conor maynard and I loved conors music when he released it in 2012, now his brother is on youtube I find him so funny his personality really comes through in his videos and I find him stupidly funny
beauty and hair
if you haven't seen on twitter in the past week iv dyed my hair! it wasn't the colour I thought it was but I love it.
I used Chill ED Stain in the shade turquoise which turned out more green than I wanted but I really like it iv used it on half a head twice and their is more in the bottle so it lasts a long time and I really love this
I also used ColourB4 to take out my old colour because I was a dark red before wanted to go back to my natural ginger but because I had black in my hair too it took 3 times of using the treatment to get rid of the colour. but its done it and yes it smells and leaves your hair in bad condition  but it takes the colour out!
 iv mentioned before how much I love the rimmle London foundation but this has made my year with my confidence and giving me the confidence I needed.
the next thing isn't a product, but a brand and I know it sounds sponsored but its not I love this brand it is affordable and the quality is good its perfect if your just getting into makeup and not sure what to get this is amazing.
henna is amzign for me this month iv used it a lot not only in college but iv used it as a creative outlet iv used it to express myself in a positive way and I really enjoy it I recommend it to anyone who like being creative or is looking for an positive way to release energy and relax.
music
 like last month KSI (the youtuber) has been killing it with his new music video for Kilimanjaro I love it. its been on repeat since its release on December 25th.  Charlie Puth has also been on repeat for me his song 'one call away' is amazing. shawn mendes has just had an amazing year! and for someone who is only a year older than me to have so much success and talent it really makes me want to push myself harder and make something of myself. The Vamps once again they have just killed it, with the release of their second album I can an amazing year for the vamps is coming in 2016. All American rejects have also been on repeat just because they are amazing.
the music that has made my year has come from one direction, 5 seconds of summer, falling in reverse, Ronnie radke, sleeping with sirens, Hey violet, all time low and I never thought Id say this Justin Bieber is killing is his new album has just been mad! there is so much more but theses bands and artists have made a huge impact in my life this year
Books
I haven't finished the book I started this month yet, but I'm close I'm less than 10 chapters away from finishing (@p_a_pblog on twitter to find out what happened) but once again its on wattpad so please go check it out such a good app/ website ' my brothers best friend' this book contains a lot of mental health disorders (anorexia, depression, self-harm) so if your sensitive to this then I wouldn't read this but if your into this type of book please go check it out!

the best website for 'alternative' accessories is crazy factory I love the prices and the quality ill do a haul soon of what Iv got from there
the only jeans Ill wear is from New Look I just love the quality and the clothes in general.
I also want to mention firetrap  which is a brand full of men and women's clothes and I just love them so much and the quality is grate
I also wanted to mention how much I'm loving hats and beanies right now!
health
so as I mentioned last month Iv been doing to 5:2 diet iv defiantly let myself off this month and I feel better for it. remember its okay to give yourself a brake.

My body modification: past, future and present

the nicest people iv ever met were covered in tattoos and piercings the most judgmental people iv met go to church every Sunday 

 hi friends so this is something I wanted to for a while and that's talk about my body. Iv been completely honest that I'm not happy with myself and my body, and I change that with body modifications and some extreme ways of finding happiness and peace. today I want to share with you what iv had what iv got and what I'm planning on and what I thinks cool.

past
this was my third piercing one of my most painful. I had my belly button pierced when I was 14 almost 15. It hurt. A lot. I have to say it was because the lady who did it didn't do it propyl so it bled a lot. it was okay for almost 4/5 months and then I had to take it out for medical scans and when I put it back in it started to grow out to the point it was being held on with the smallest piece of skin so I got advised to take it out and let it heal up over a year later and its still not healed fully and I'm currently waiting for it to fully heal so I can have it re-done when iv lost the weight I want to loose

present
my first piercing was somewhere between the age of 5-7 so I was young. I got put off having anything else done because of the bad experience I had when having my earlobe pierced. to put it bluntly my sugar leaves dropped dramatically scaring my family a lot I didn't pass out which iv very grateful for. but that put me off a lot. what also put me off is because I did it behind my dads back. he said no, mum said yes and when he want to Germany with work I had them pierced and lets just say it wasn't my smartest choice.

my second piercing was my first facial piercing which is my nose I had this done 3 years and I don't regret it at all. I would put this as my least painful piercing it didn't hurt it was the noise it made it makes you jump so it doesn't hurt at all. the only downside to this piercing is changing can hurt depending on if you wear a nose ring or a stud I personally wear a stud and changing it can be painful depending on what you wear it, but its different for every person

my fourth piercing was two helix piercing on my left ear and I have never felt so much pain. these was the worst piercings I had done late 2014 and I have to say I'm not really bothered about these piercings I wouldn't mind if they healed up I don't dislike them but they wasn't what I wanted. theses were home done piercings my mum is trained to do so, when I asked her to pierced them so I could get a scaffolding piercing but it went wrong, but as I said I'm not fussed about them. I have to say I find these piercings the most unconfutable especially when I sleep.

my 5th piercing was my second facial piercing which is a singular bar in my lower lip. this was completely painless. this is my favourite piercing by far iv wanted this since I was 10 so I thought about it first which is how I suggest you go into to any body modification. I had this done just before my 16th birthday so it hasn't been that long only 9 months ago

my next modification I had the weekend after my sixteenth birthday I had my first tattoo, which as I said don't go into anything that can effect my body light heartedly, I also don't believe in having tattoos for the sake of it I wont have anything without a meaning but I really didn't mind the pain, it hurt but its an easily forgotten pain ill attach a picture at the end to show you want it is

my sixth piercing was my upper lobe. my ears have been the worst piercings pain wise.  I don't mind as iv had my lower lobe done before but it still hurt a lot every piercing hurts in one way or not.

my last body modification is stretching my right ear currently iv got a 2.5 taper in my ear and oh my gosh it hurt a lot I'm not sure how big I'm going to stretch it I'm going to see if I get any bigger than a 3 or 4 but ill boubt any more than that

future
in the future I want more tattoos and piercings.

I'm planning on getting a scaffolding piercing in my right ear and getting my belly done again and also my tongue
I thinking about getting dermal piercings (on my hips, my chest, my neck and on my collarbone), a smiler piercing, dimple piercings and maybe another lip

I'm planning on getting a meaningful tattoo on the back of my neck and also one on my ankle
eventually I want tattoo sleeves on both arms but I'm going to wait till I'm a bit older so I know its what I want

Christmas makeup bag

I wear makeup for myself, because I like it.
hey friends today I wanted to share with you my favourite Christmas makeup bag items, for a drugstore price! As a teenager I'm not good with money and I don't have a lot of money so MAC is out of the question for me so drugstores are my best friend.

face

this is all stuff I would normally have in my makeup bag apart from the highlight

primer- MUA pro- base primer; flawlessly evens out complexion. this is the first thing I put on my skin in the morning after my moisturiser. it really gives the flawless look like it says on the bottle. it gives an even coverage and it makes my patchy skin look more awake. it really lives up to expectations

eye primer and concealer- MUA pro-base prime and conceal; iv spoke about this before I use the 'skin' colour concealer as my contour. I still use the green, purple and yellow concealer as a concealer to cover any imperfections I feel that need covering I love the coverage and as iv said before I really would recommend this to anyone

concealer- rimmel London hide the blemish concealer: in the shade 'ivory 001' I use this to go over my blemishes just to get extra coverage. I really love this. this actually is the same colour as my foundation so if I feel kinda lazy ill just put it on all my face and use this as my foundation

foundation- rimmel London match perfection foundation; I cant talk highly enough about this foundation iv used this foundation for 10 months and this is my second bottle I really like the coverage it fits my pale skin perfectly as I use shade '010 light porcelain' one pump is enough for my face and blending into my neck it is a buildable foundation however I only like one layer of foundation however it can give a cakey coverage if desired.

powder- rimmel London clear complexion powder; this is probably my 3rd or 4th palette I use this everyday as a transparent packed powder and I honestly love it. its affordable and it lasts a long time I really like this palette I use this for a lot. I use this to matt my lipsticks, keep my eyebrows in place and keep my makeup on my face

lips

this season is all about the lips for me. i deep or bright staple lip is truly all you need this season. red! red is one of the staple colours for this time of year for me. Wine red, deep red, bright red, matt red, sparkly red. just red. I will still have a nude lip in my bag however If I'm doing a basic eye look then red is the way to go but if I'm doing a smokey eye then ill go for nude just to give the eyes more of a pop and draw attention to them.

the first red I want to talk about I actually got for free! it was on a offer that ends at the end of the month its by MUA in their LUXE range its in the shade 'glitz' and its limited edition so I would get it soon! its a bright lip with a seasonal gold glitter running throughout. it smells beautiful and it lasts. its the lip gloss you do have to carry with you if your wearing it on a night out it could wear off really easily if your having a meal or a drink

the next lipstick is a deep red. its by MUA in the shade '1' its a buildable wine red. the best part about MUA its a cheap affordable brand , its such a smooth and moisturising texture and I think its a beautiful colour for a pale skin tone but honestly iv used this colour on darker skin tones and it suites all tones. I find this lipstick very heavy to wear however I like to make this lipstick matt and I just find that very pretty, but its very pretty when its applied from the lipstick tube.

the next lipstick iv had for a while and just haven't worn. its Salonniere by Jenny Packham. its a gorgeous orange/ red colour and honestly it feels really nice to wear on the lips. its perfect if your too scared to go for the bold bright colour this is the perfect mix. I think its beautiful and such a Christmas colour

once again this is another MUA lipstick however there is another colour available in a lip gloss that looks like this shade, and I think if you like an extra shine to your lips apply the lip gloss on top of this lipstick. I really like this colour its a deep purple and I think if your wearing a bright colour like a bright green it might look nice or even if you wanted to add a bit of colour to a little black dress it would look so pretty. it would look so nice in matt, and once again its a buildable colour and its called '100% vamp' and I love this colour its part of their 'revolution' collection and honestly it feels so good to wear. its a moisturising colour and it lasts. I also wanted to add it smells beautiful!

my final MUA lipstick is 'barely there' I love this colour its not quite nude its more a pink. this is the colour I would wear if your having a very natural day, not wanting to wear too much however wanting to wear something minimal on the lips.

I also like wearing the 'barely there' lipstick with collection's lock 'n' hold lip gloss in the shade 'rock steady' I love this over the MUA lipstick I  also think this lip gloss smells like coffee so I love putting this on in the morning it lasts for so long and feel amazing on the lips I also used this on a darker undertoned client this weekend and it was a beautiful going out colour to go with a dramatic eye.

the next colour is also from collection from their 'gothic glam' collection and in the shade 'seduction' I love this colour! I got this for the first time just over a year ago and now I'm on my second tube. this colour is a deep red with hints of purple and pink its such a pretty colour it looks so nice if your wearing black or if your wearing a deep red it actually looks to pretty. it feels so nice on your lips its so moisturising and the pigment is so strong its beautiful

the next is the only Rimmel London lipstick in the collection its in the shade '107 Alarm' this is the brightest shade in my makeup bag and it looks so pretty with a little black dress or with a neutral eye, I personally like this with a nude colour and a harsh black cat eye and eyeliner on the waterline. this colour is so pigmented its so pretty, it also smells so nice and sweet.

eyebrows

I have only been using this a few days but I love it! its W7 brow parlour it has a prow wax, highlight powder and 2 different colour powders (both in brown) it also comes with an angled brush, brow comb and tweezers its really good for perfect brows

before I had this palette I used

miss sporty '018 savage' in a brown shade brow pencil. I only really fill in my eyebrows I never really shape them my eyebrows are very natural

eyes

as you can imagine eyes are a huge part of the face and can be huge staple in any look especially this time of year

ill start with the W7 'in the nude' palette. all these shadows are all very pigmented, and are all in the nude tone as the name suggests. theses colours are beautiful not only for this time of year but for anytime they are a mix of warm and cool tones and they are beautiful and they blend very well. the pallet could be seen as a doop for the naked palettes, its just as beautiful but a cheaper than the original palette

the second palette I use all year round is the collection: eyes uncovered palettes in the shade 'nude' which not only is a lot of the shadows are matt however some have a lot of shimmer and it looks beautiful. these colours create the perfect brown Smokey eye and nude Smokey eye. the tones of the palette are perfect for any skin tone, any occasion and any outfit.

the palette I would say I use most is the BarryM Super natural palette that's limited edition. the colour iv been using most is the bronze/ gold colour with the light brown on the crease. its very pigmented and the gold has a beautiful shimmer. the second, third and forth colour also create a perfect light pink/nude eye. I also love the dark Smokey eye that can be created with this palette

the next palette was an early Christmas present these colours are very pigmented but very matt and I really like that its Body Collection palette and has 170 colours such as green, blue, pink, brown and black. I cant express how much I use this palette its almost on a daily basis. I love this palette and I love the price of this palette

this is the only liquid eyeliner that I can get along with its GOSH xtream eyeliner. its jet black and I find that it stays in place and doesn't smudge I find this so good to work with. the brush being so small and thin can create the perfect look

paring with false lashes I wear almost everyday

I wear Maybelline big eye mascara. using the smaller brush used for lower lashes on my upper lashes to make sure ever little lash is covered then I apply the bigger brush which is actually meant for the upper lashes over the top only one layer and to give it its extra bit of volume I then apply the GOSH xtream mascara over the lashes and it gives it the biggest lashes almost fake looking

to give me a more awake look I use the rimmle London scandaleyes in the shade 'nude' in my inner corner on my waterline it also give me a bigger looking eye. on the rest of the water line I use a black pencil to line my eyes it really is any pencil I don't have a brand I use but before anyone goes putting a black crayon on their eyes make sure they are eye safe

Christmas wish list

Perfection is Perception

Hi friends
Before i start this blog post i wanted to say these are not materialistic things, in my wish list but emotional and life skills/ lessons I hope will come to me during the Christmas period or Santa will be very kind to me this year and I will wake up with these things on Christmas morning.

The first thing is
Optimism
I'm a really negative person by nature, but instead of seeing the worst in myself, other people and situations i hope to see life in a better light, and have a bit of optimism towards  life

Recovery

this is something I know I cant wake up and be recovered but I would like to have a better and smoother recovery process

Family

I would like to have better relationships with my family

Self-worth

Don't let others define yourself worth. you and only you can define your self-worth.

Be open with people

Don't close people out when your trying to protect them be open with them and tell them how your feeling but more importantly listen to how they are feeling in response

Being happy with myself

This is like a few of the others but being happy with myself and not taking other peoples opinions seriously taking everything with a pinch of sault

Perfection is perception

Remember if you feel the need to be perfect find your definition of perfect and fit that don't try to be someone else's definition of perfect because in experience you'll hate yourself more being their definition rather than how you was before

Be grateful

Don't compare yourself or belongings to others be grateful for what you have and the people you have in your life

Forgive yourself

Don't be angry at yourself for things in the past you cant change it try and make the best of a bad

situation

Don't stress but don't over look the little things

Appreciate the small things. not even physical things but memories. not just remembering the big things like Christmas but the happy family movie days. and don't stress over the little things don't sit back and don't plan if that makes you stressed but don't let little things keep you awake at night

Don't stop caring about others but give yourself a brake

This is much like others. yes you can care about others but don't let your care for others take over the care you should have for yourself. Don't put others feelings above your own, yes its hard hurting people you care about but its not worth being hurt yourself

Don't be afraid, embrace life

This is something I will forever find hard. I'm afraid of the unknown. And this is something I need to work on I don't want to be afraid my howl life I want to let life do its thing and embrace the unknown part of life

Find a coping strategy

Find a coping strategy that isn't self destructive and isn't hurting others, find something that you can do as and when you need to and makes you happy

Deal with your issues with words not silence

Don't keep things bottled up, its okay to tell people your problems and issues not everyone is perfect everybody has issues. its okay to talk about it weather its a professional or not  

Find your happy places

Find your own place that doesn't have any worries or fear. find a place weather it be a real place or a imaginary place that makes you happy and you can have to yourself and you don't need to share it.

Black Friday/ Cyber Monday Haul

If shopping doesn't make you happy, then your in the wrong shop"- Mimosa Rose

so if you wasn't aware, last Friday and Monday was Black Friday and Cyber Monday so if there ever was a long weekend to shop, ITS THIS WEEKEND!
so iv been waiting to write this for a week but shipping on my shopping took longer than expected so it took ages but it arrived yesterday so here is my first Haul!
ill start with..

Beauty
so as expected i went to Superdrug and these are the products iv got;
first iv got Rimmel match perfection foundation in the shade Light Porcelain. This is my go to foundation, i love the flawless look it gives my skin. i also love how it matches my skin tone, which i find it really hard to find a foundation that matches my skin tone that gives me a flawless, long lasting look. i got this for £8.99
iv got a product i wouldn't normally go for Xtreme Liquid Gel Eye Liner. i wouldn't normally go for a liquid liner i only use gel but i really like this one the thin brush really gives you more control of where the liner is going which i struggle with normally. The final result dries really quickly but you still need to give it a second to dry and set. it also hasn't cracked so far wearing it on long day hasn't been a problem so far. i got this in a set which costs for 4 items £10.99 however it costs normally £5.99
This next item i love and i will do a full review. Gosh XTREAM mascara is such a beautiful product, it gives such a natural look to my eyelashes and makes them look super long and super pretty. if you like a natural look on an everyday bases then one cote if this mascara is the perfect thing for you. However if you like a fuller look 2-3 cotes are all you need and this will be perfect.  i got this in a set which costs for 4 items £10.99 however it normally costs £8.49
i will also do a review on this product too. BarryM Super Natural Eyeshadow Palette  this is a limited edition palette i love this pallet. this has been the everyday eye look since the day iv bought it and i love it. iv created lots of looks from this pallet; a natural eye, a Smokey eye, sparkly Christmas eye, a girly look. i really like this pallet i love the look of this pallet, i love the colours it uses and the very Christmassy look even thought this isn't a Christmas pallet. At the time i got this for £5 and now its being sold for £6.49
This product is any early Christmas present from my Gran which is only got for an assignment at college so i haven't used it yet but i will do a full review when iv used it
iv also got fake nails from wilkos which once again are not for me but for college but having bought these before i love the look and finish of these nails and how well they take colour.

Nails
 so I'm a true nail addict. i love nails and nail art so iv treated myself to some polish
first i want to start with my favourite nail polish. New York Night by Tanya Burr cosmetics. i love this colour! the smooth finish almost looks perfect...no it is perfect. i really want to try other colours in this collection. riding hood looks amazing! cant wait till Christmas when i can treat myself to more colours. its a midnight purple colour.  it was £4.99 and its now being sold at £3.39
my next favourite is a trend iv been seeing a lot lately and that's matt nails. so iv seen this Black matt nail varnish from Barry M. this is very cute and i love this trend, and i cant wait to try this on my new year outfit which I'm very excited to show you. iv bought this at £3.50 and its now being sold at £3.99
this is the closest colour i could find to the one i got from Collection i got the colour for my college project which once again ill show you when its done but i do have to say its very Barbie ;)
this one i got in the set i mentioned earlier but this colour i love because its very festive because if you don't follow me on twitter I'm very festive right now.  so iv been very excited to use this colour over a nice deep red

Jewellery
so 5 seconds of summers store was having a 50% sale and iv got a skull necklace its silver with a long chain. and that was sold for £9.99

Candle
so i didn't buy this in the sale i just really wanted to show you this beautiful Christmas candle. its a pink candle and its called snowflake cookie. this reminds me of ginger bread cookies, I'm not sure of the sent but it smells beautiful its strong but its a very Christmas smell

Art
So as someone who loves new projects and DIY iv bought a large pain white canvas which was £4.20
 Crayola crayons for another DIY project and it was 50p for 24 colours
the final art supply i got was tracing paper and this was to do my project at college which was £1.50

electrical
so iv got pink Kandy headphones not as something i wanted but as something i needed, as my others fell to bits in my hands and this was £10

so that was it for my haul. so thank you for reading and this is in no way showing off what i bought but to give you ideas on what to get for a present for yourself or someone else
