darling, you have a soul of an artist and the touch of the surgeonHello my darlings
welcome to day 3 of 14 days of makeup today I wanted to show you a look for my favourite movie character Morticia Addams
This look is something I had a lot of fun with, I have never attempted this look before I sourly went from reference picture which is above and other pictures from the film.
For this look I started by applying moisturiser, then white body paint all over my face, due to how pale I am this didn't make to much of an affect on my skin, it only evened out my skin tone and covered my freckles.
In the movies Morticia Addams has black eyebrows however with my eyebrows being naturally dark I decided not to fill them in black but to do a darker colour than I was used to, I also decided that since I wasn't going to fill my brows in black I wasn't going to wear a wig for this look. On my lips I used a collection lipstick Iv looked for this lipstick but I cant find it so I believe its been discontinued, but the colour is from the gothic glam collection in the shade' #1 seduction' I love this colour especially on pale skin.
For the eyes you only need, a grey eyeshadow, a white eyeshadow, a purple eyeshadow, a brown eyeshadow, black mascara, eyeliner and optional false lashes
I started by applying eye primer, then patting white eyeshadow all over the lid. I did this in a patting motion to gain the most colour. I next used a light brown eyeshadow, blending it in the crease really well. I next applied the purple eyeshadow lightly on the crease and up.
I didn't have a grey eyeshadow, so I mixed a black eyeshadow and a white eyeshadow till I got the dark Smokey grey I wanted. I then blended all over my crease and up but not so high you cant see the purple. I created the sharp edge of the eyeshadow with another brush Handel resting along my waterline you can also do this with tape. I then repeated the first step by cleaning up the
I applied the eyeliner to my waterline then to the lid in a form as a cat eyeliner flick. I only did a small flick so I can put black eyeshadow at the top of the flick and blend it towards my tear-duct. I then applied mascara and then false lashes, these are defiantly optional and what ever type you want to use.
much love speak soon
