Today i want to tell you about a staple in my makeup bag. Makeup Revolutions Fortune Favours The Brave palette is beautiful. This palette is all you will need for your eyes, with colours for a dark smoky eye to a more natural look then for highlights as well this is an amazing palette.

This palette is described on the Revolution website as 'Thirty shades of matte, glimmer and sheen combine in one golden palette for an every which-way smoky eye. From the lightest of brightening base colours to the darkest, most daring shades of navy, black and green and everything in between, Fortune is the most versatile, every-age, every-tone palette yet'
 These are the colours; Soft ( centre colour), Caffeine Fix (bottom colour), Latte (top colour)
These are the colours; New World (top colour), Favour (centre colour), Pink Diamond (bottom colour)
These are the colours; Sunset Hour (top colour), Crème ( centre colour), Super Gold (bottom colour)

All of the colours in the palette are all so pigmented and beautiful and what i really like is the huge mirror in the top of the palette but a lot of palettes don't have mirrors so its perfect for travelling. I also really like the double ended brush that the palette comes with, it has a end for packing on the colour and the other end is for blending which i think is such a good idea and i really like the quality of the brush.
                                                            

This is defiantly a HOT product! I had to go to 3 different shops to try to get it on its release day  so defiantly try to get your hands on it the best way to get it will probably be on the makeup revolution website. For the price you defiantly need to get your hands on this beauty!

April Favourites

rain rain go away go away come again another day

hello friends
April has come and gone, its gone so quickly its been such a good month with lots of ups rather than downs. this month iv been doing so much I really wanted to share this with you!

Youtube

this month iv been really into FIFA youtubers lately and one iv really liked this month was Chrismd. honestly I feel like iv found my number 2 in my top 5 favourite ever youtubers, I think hes actually quite funny and hes so skilled with football so defiantly go check him out. For all of my fellow beauty lovers iv found a new youtuber for me which is Tati or GlamLifeGuru I really really like her videos iv found myself watching all of her madness Mondays videos and her hot or nots. I really value her opinion and her advice I think its something you can trust so if you want to see tutorials, high end products as well as drugstore brands defiantly go check out her channel. finally I wanted talk about a youtuber on younow. Laura Lejeune who is a mental health youtuber does every now and again does younow and I think its super good way to connecting to an audience and it can be really good way of talking to people who have the same interests

Music

this month iv been really into music, its a huge part of my life so I wanted to share what iv been loving this month. firstly 5 seconds of summer never fail to amaze me! their second album Sounds good feels good is back on my favourites this month as I went to go see them LIVE! so iv defiantly  fallen deeper in love with their music especially beside you and disconnected. this is also a band and that's The Tide their song Young Love is so good super catchy so if you've got any spare time defiantly go check them out. Another band for you is Sleeping With Sirens  their acoustic album is so good all the songs I love but live I don't think I would go to a concert of theirs but honestly go check out their album if you want to hear some amazing live music. An album iv been loving this month is Lukas Graham. this is the band behind the massively successful 7 years. their hole album is amazing I cant tell you enough how much you should go check out their album my favourite song has to be criminal mind I love the song I haven't found  a song that I don't like and doesn't make me smile every song because of the message behind it or the tune or something  about this band makes me smile so huge recommendation from me!! this is one of my all time favourite artists P!nk. she has recently come out with her song from Alice through the looking glass movie. P!nk is a huge inspiration for me and she was one of the first musicians that made me fall in love with music. really love this song.

Beauty and Hair

this month iv loved the American brand NYX iv fallen in love with some of their products as you might have seen on my Instagram iv bee loving the liquid lipsticks. so many NYX products if you haven't tried NYX before then please do I really like almost all of their products iv brought from this month. this isn't really a product but its something to help clean your makeup brushes. a Brushegg this was a present from my mum but iv used it so much since iv got it I cant  believe how much it helps clean my brushes, I got mine from  eBay but I'm sure you can get them in drugstores. Eyelashes are a staple in my look now and because of that iv found these lashes that came with my college kit that iv been using recently Kryolan and their lash glue is amazing I haven't found a glue I like better than theirs this a must have. the one eyeshadow palette iv been drawn to this month is the Makeup Revolutions Fortune Favours The Brave palette this has been so hard to get my hands on as it was only out this month iv been to 3 different shops to only get it in the 3rd I really love this palette iv been doing everything from my smokey eye to my natural eyes with this palette iv used almost every colour if you see this in superdrug or online grab it!!! this month iv stated to grow my nails again so I want to tell you about a colour iv had for a while and iv recently really been liking to go with my new ' look' is New your night by Tanya Burr Cosmetics this is the perfect midnight purple and the best thing is Iv found it doesn't chip so I'm not constantly doing my nails so love love love this colour!!
For hair the first thing I want to talk to you about is my new hair colour. iv  lightened my hair using bleach then dyed my hair purple using Maria Nila hair dye in the shade 'vivid violet' I really like this brand so far I'm still trying it out so I can give you my full review but so far love this product. a huge advantage point is that its 100% vegan. since bleaching my hair it hasn't felt that nice so every day iv been spraying it with conditioning spray by Aussie and doing lots of conditioning treatments but this has been grate for my hair especially when I'm running out the door. another thing iv been using isn't an hair product but a hat. I wear hats a lot especially when its a bad hair day or I haven't got any dry shampoo left.

TV and Movies

the only TV show i feel the need to tell you about that i haven't told you about before it Thirteen which is a BBC dram and its about a girl who was kidnapped at 13 and she escapes 13 years later and its without giving anything away a race to catch her kidnapper. this isn't really a movie but Lee Evans dvds have been on replay in my house he's a family favourite comedian here so love him this month

Book

one book iv read is a book of poetry. its called Milk and honey by Rupi Kaur. i really like this book i don't really enjoy poetry but iv really liked this iv recommended it to everyone i know it can be dark in a few placed so you don't like that then its not for you but iv found a lot of courage and inspiration from this book.

Disney

this month iv loved everything Disney iv found a real obsession with their Tsum Tsum collection of little toys i love looking at pictures of peoples collections on Instagram one iv been looking at all the time will be linked here. another Disney Instagram favourite this month is Kenzie who is a little girl and its pictures and videos of her meeting Disney characters and i love this its so cute so ill like her here

as i said at the start at the post i went to go see 5 seconds of summer in their uk tour in Nottingham. i will be doing a post about it later this week but i want to say how amazing it was and if you ever have the chance to see them live go this is my 5th time seeing them live and iv enjoyed every show. if you are going trust me you wont be disappointed.

NYX soft matte lip cream review

I cant taste my lips can you do it for me?

recently iv had a couple days off of college so I thought while off I will do a few reviews and a few weeks ago I had a little late night shopping trip so I decided  to add to my NYX collection with a soft matte lip cream.

if you looked on my Instagram over the last few weeks I showed and did a really quick mini review. which a lot of people seemed to like. Iv been very into liquid lipsticks lately so be ready for a lot more of them.

this is the shade 'Madrid' I actually got a lot of complements when I wore this to the store from family members to a hair dresser who asked me what I was wearing. I didn't wear anything underneath however I did line my lips with a lip pencil from MAC  

I want to start off with the packaging. I really like the lid of this packaging being matte black. I actually really like the size, I like how small it is so I can throw it in my bag or in my back pocket.

there are defiantly a lot of good with this product however there are some bad.  

I love the soft creamy texture of this product, its not drying on the lips. I LOVE the colour so much, its a beautiful colour and I think it would look so nice on all skin tones this deep red colour is beautiful.

the smell to me is heaven! it smells sweet kinda like a sweet shop I really like the smell because its not overly sweet but its still smells sweet? I'm not sure if that makes sense but I really love the smell. the name of the shades in this line are super cool, I love how they called the shades the names of cities all the names and shades are beautiful, there isn't a lot of one colour in the range its a verity of colours I wouldn't mind using any of the colours in the range. the price in the UK is grate I'm not sure about the price in the US I bought this from Boots for £5.50  which is really good in price.

as for the bad points of the product there isn't a lot bad about the lip creams. I know I said that its not drying on the lips but I found the formula didn't dry on my lips so its not kiss proof I found it rubbed off on my lip ring, so I found it didn't last very well especially after talking, eating and drinking.

overall I really like this product and I would recommend it however it would be the best if you carry the lip cream around with you and reapply throughout the day

NYX Lingerie liquid lisptick review

lips without lipstick are like cake without frosting

Hi again friends,

a few days ago I did something I do a lot. late night shopping. I was awake at 1am and I was going to an advent a few days later and I really wanted to try liquid lipstick for the first time. I had ordered some online before but it hadn't arrived and I had shopped with Boots before so I knew I could pick it up from the shop which is around the corner so I picked it up from there.  so I went a little bit mad shopping

This is the NYX Lingerie liquid lipstick in the shade '09 corset'

I hadn't seen too many people online talking about this product but I had seen it on the boots website and I'm all about nudes and dark nude lips so I really wanted to have a look and try these. I also really wanted to try a liquid lipstick. Because NYX isn't in the everyday drug store its only sold in selected Boots stores so I have to buy online because the only stores close to me is small so online is my only option

I want to start with the packaging. I love the package, however I would like it to be more clear what the name of the colour I'm wearing. there isn't too much I can say I just really like the way this looks and I think its super portable its so easy to carry. when I'm wearing this I put it in my glasses case or in my purse.

I really like this product when you first apply it its really light and I found as it dries it gets darker. when you first apply this product it can feel quite sticky and the first time I wore it I had to blot my lips on a tissue because it didn't feel right however after wearing it and getting used to the formula it sat beautifully on the lips. only after a while did it start to settle into the cracks of my lips. I didn't find it drying at all until the ten hour mark I then felt my lips feel very dry but when looking at my lips throughout the day the colour was still there even after 12 hours which I really liked!

I think the colour '09 Corset' would look beautiful on any skin tone especially an darker tone would look beautiful. but with all of the colours in this collection I think would look amazing on any tone.

I bought this for £6.50 which is really good for a product that I like as much as this.

I do have to say the smell of the product I'm not a huge fan I don't really like the smell I think it smells faintly like a hospital to me anyway but I have showed this to a family member and she didn't think so, it might just be me.

the applicator is amazing and is super soft on the lips and it doesn't leave the product patchy after the first layer. I haven't used any lip liner with this product only a lip primer and as I said It looks beautiful even after eating, drinking and screaming at a concert all night

purple smokey eyes

colours of the smile of nature

Hello sweetie,
today is the final day of 14 days of makeup. I cant tell you how much iv enjoyed doing this, its been so much fun to expand my creativity and skills.

I wanted to do a more natural pop of colour to the eye rather than the over the top colour I did for the festival look. this is all from one palette eyeliner included. this is such a pretty look for this time of year.

I started with my simple facial toner, then carried on with my simple kind to skin hydrating light moisturiser. I first used Maybelline instant pore eraser primer, I then used my colour correcting concealer wanting to achieve a flawless complexion, and cover this with my rimmel hide the blemish concealer. I then use my favourite foundation which is rimmel match perfection foundation. I blended it down my neck, using a RealTechniques expert face brush. I then used rimmel hide the blemish concealer in the shade 'natural baige' for a cream contour on my nose, cheek bones, temples and jaw. then going over it with MUA contour and sculpt duo to lock the cream contour in place. I continued to highlight my nose and under eye. I finished my face with Kryolan translucent powder.

for the eyes I used W7s in the night palette. I used the colours 'Party pooper', 'Atlanta', 'Abracadabra' and 'Top hat' in the in the night palette, which are all grey, purple and pink. I started off with 'Atlanta' all over my lid in a sweeping motion. I then took 'Abracadabra' in the crease with a fluffy brush and blended it up. Using 'Top hat' in my outer third of the eye and in the crease not blending it in so its still very visible. I then took 'Atlanta' which is a light pink tone, in my tear duct and my brow bone. For eyeliner I used a damp angled brush and the colour 'Bologna' and used that on my waterline as a gel eyeliner.

I then used my Maybelline Great Lash mascara on my top and bottom lashes,  I continued to apply 3 cotes of mascara, this look would look so pretty with a classic winged eyeliner and false lashes the lashes I would recommend is Eylure because they are beautiful lashes. I continued to fill in my eyebrows using W7 Brow Parlour.

I continued to use lipstick, this is beautiful look with any colour lipstick.

rose gold smokey eye

 Welcome to day 13 of 14 days of makeup its going to be over soon iv had so much fun doing these tutorials and widening my skills. Today I wanted to show you a really pretty girly Smokey eye.

I really like this beautiful look, this looks so pretty with any outfit for any occasion

I started with my simple facial toner, then carried on with my simple kind to skin hydrating light moisturiser. For the eyes I used 3 different palettes however I used one colour form each I used the Rose Boudoir eyeshadow collection, makeup revolution redemption palette ironic elements and a create your own palette by MAC.

I first started with NYX waterproof eyeshadow primer. I then applied 'Texture' by Mac over my crease and blended it up, I then took a stone brown out of the makeup revolution palette and blended that over 'Texture'. I then patted the second colour down in the Rose Boudoir palette all over my lid for extra pigment. I added for a little bit more of a rose gold look I added the coral colour in the Rose Boudoir palette, in the middle of my eye lid. I then took the same colour from the makeup revolution palette that we took along the crease and blend that colour into the outer 'V' of the eye.

I then took a gel eyeliner by collection then took that across my waterline. I then took my liquid eyeliner also by collection across my eyelid for a winged liner you can do a thin liner or a thicker liner, it looks so pretty either way. I then applied my mascara by Maybelline I also applied my false lashes and filled in my eyebrows with W7 brow parlour   

As I said before this is beautiful with any lipstick I chose a nude lipstick and a dark purple by makeup revolution. I ombred my purple lipstick and ill leave a link to the tutorial  here

Burgundy smokey eye

Remember ladies, there is a fine line between applying  a Smokey eye with makeup and a raccoon getting ready for a KISS concert.

Welcome to day 12 of 14 days of makeup!! There's only 2 days left its gone so quickly! but today I wanted to show you a look I love today this is a look I use whenever I go out I really like this look.

This is a mix between a brown and a red eye however it look beautiful with any lipstick colour, any lashes, any skin tone and any type of liner.

I started this look by applying my simple kind to skin hydrating light moisturiser and lightly worked it into the skin. I used a colour correction concealer using a purple concealer on my under eyes to brighten them up and blended them in with my RealTechniques setting brush, I then used a green concealer to cover any redness on my cheek. I then continued by applying my Rimmel match perfection foundation on a foundation brush and blended it out with a stippling brush and made sure to blend down my neck. I then used a cream contour and an angled brush to blend into the hair line on my cheek bones, jaw, temples and nose. I then use Makeup Revolution highlighter. Just before I finished my face I then applied my translucent powder by Kryolan. I then to completely finish my face I spayed my face with NYX setting spray for long lasting wear ability.

For the eyes I wanted to use a lot of similar colours to create a Smokey look. I first started with 'Texture' by MAC in the crease and blending it up. I then went over it with 'Swiss chocolate' by MAC in the crease and blending it up but not as high as 'Texture'. I then patted 'Embark' all over my lid. I use a patting motion to gain a lot more pigment rather than sweeping across the lid gives an uneven look. I then used a small amount of 'Twinks' by MAC to blend in 'Embark' to the other colours, to ensure there's no block lines and everything blends nicely.

I then took a gel eyeliner by Collection and used it on my water line and tight line. I then used

'Texture', 'Swiss chocolate', 'Embark' and 'Twinks' and used an accent brush and blended it together  on the lower lash line and blending down the eyeliner for a more Smokey effect. I then winged my liner with L'Oréal liquid eyeliner pen. I then use my Maybelline big eyes mascara on my top and bottom lashes. I then use natural false lashes, and stick them as close to the lash line as possible, I then do a coat of my mascara over  my lashes with my false lashes on so they blend together. I then fill in my brows with W7 brow parlour.

Then for lips I used rimmel lipstick in the shade'107 Alarm'. I didn't use any lip pencil or anything however if I was to you a lip pencil it would be 'burgundy' by MAC. I really like this with a dark brown lip
