lips without lipstick are like cake without frosting
Hi again friends,
a few days ago I did something I do a lot. late night shopping. I was awake at 1am and I was going to an advent a few days later and I really wanted to try liquid lipstick for the first time. I had ordered some online before but it hadn't arrived and I had shopped with Boots before so I knew I could pick it up from the shop which is around the corner so I picked it up from there. so I went a little bit mad shopping
This is the NYX Lingerie liquid lipstick in the shade '09 corset'
I hadn't seen too many people online talking about this product but I had seen it on the boots website and I'm all about nudes and dark nude lips so I really wanted to have a look and try these. I also really wanted to try a liquid lipstick. Because NYX isn't in the everyday drug store its only sold in selected Boots stores so I have to buy online because the only stores close to me is small so online is my only option
I want to start with the packaging. I love the package, however I would like it to be more clear what the name of the colour I'm wearing. there isn't too much I can say I just really like the way this looks and I think its super portable its so easy to carry. when I'm wearing this I put it in my glasses case or in my purse.
I really like this product when you first apply it its really light and I found as it dries it gets darker. when you first apply this product it can feel quite sticky and the first time I wore it I had to blot my lips on a tissue because it didn't feel right however after wearing it and getting used to the formula it sat beautifully on the lips. only after a while did it start to settle into the cracks of my lips. I didn't find it drying at all until the ten hour mark I then felt my lips feel very dry but when looking at my lips throughout the day the colour was still there even after 12 hours which I really liked!
I do have to say the smell of the product I'm not a huge fan I don't really like the smell I think it smells faintly like a hospital to me anyway but I have showed this to a family member and she didn't think so, it might just be me.

I think the colour '09 Corset' would look beautiful on any skin tone especially an darker tone would look beautiful. but with all of the colours in this collection I think would look amazing on any tone.
I bought this for £6.50 which is really good for a product that I like as much as this.
the applicator is amazing and is super soft on the lips and it doesn't leave the product patchy after the first layer. I haven't used any lip liner with this product only a lip primer and as I said It looks beautiful even after eating, drinking and screaming at a concert all night
