welcome to 2017!

This is my first real post of 2017. If you have read my Goals for 2017 post which i will link HERE, i have been itching for a while to read more. I love books and  i used to read quite a bit but iv got dyslexia and i really struggle to read big books because it does put me off, but this year i want to try and read a lot. 

Today i wanted to tell you about the books i plan on reading this month and i want to post blogs like this once or twice a month letting you guys know what I'm reading and what iv read this month. I want to read all kinds of books; i love YA fiction the most but i love crime and fantasy so i will read a lot of these types of books.

This month i want to read two books with one of the books is quite thick so i am easing myself into reading bigger books and reading more books so hopefully i will start to read more than two books a month but two is my minimum. 

If i can i read more books than this i will be happy but two books in my first month of reading I'm okay with that.

The first book i bought a while ago, its by a Canadian author and artist Rupi Kaur.

The book is called Milk and Honey. I knew nothing of the book when i first bought it. I had seen a picture of the book and a page in the book and it was beautiful. I knew instantly that it was a book of poems. I had bought the book from Amazon and all i know about the book is that it has four chapters of little notes relating to the chapter.

The next book iv been planning on reading and i haven't read before now because of Christmas, my cousin actually got tired of me talking about this book and bought it for me. A Monster Calls by Patrick Ness. I actually first heard about this book from a book youtuber Emily Fox and she raved about this book and after hearing about the book Zoella spoke about the book being made into a film, and after i heard about it i was super excited to read it. The book is about a boy and a yew tree that turns into a monster that calls upon the boy during hard times, That's all i know about the book and I'm super excited to get reading,
