my thougths on valintines day

dear heart, please stop getting involved in everything. your job is to pump blood and that's it.

hello my friends
today is just my thoughts on valentine's day and my reasoning for it.

so in my opinion valentine's day isn't as romantic as they make it out to be, due to the fact you are being made to be romantic in my opinion its more romantic to give presents or show affection any other time of the year, just because you want to not because of a commercialised  holiday. with a prediction of one billion valentine's cards exchanges each year its becoming a mainstream holiday such as Christmas or new year.

where I have no problem with people doing things on February 14th, I don't think its romantic, due to social pressure whether its on facebook, twitter, Instagram , TV or even our social groups outside if social media. the pressure to be 'relationship goals' is a big one that faces today's generation of people. wanting to get the most likes on an Instagram post or favourites on twitter  is more important than actually making your partner feel loved or feel special.

as someone who suffers with a lot of self doubt this time of the year can make me feel especially down and doubt myself. I feel that valentines day is something that can effect someone in a non positive way. where is Halloween another holiday that is quickly on the rise I don't think it can make someone feel conscious about themselves, 

I'm not sure how interesting this post is I just wanted to do another post on valentines day before the season passes I will upload again on Wednesday
