Urban Decay Pore Perfecting Primer- Review

The nicest people iv ever met were covered in tattoos and piercings the most judgemental people iv met go to church every Sunday

Hi Friends

Welcome to day 50 of 100 Days Of Products

I cant believe it, half way through 100 Days Of Products. Already! Its been hard and at times straining but iv really enjoyed writing it and hopefully this will be the start of me posting more things on the blog, not just beauty but lifestyle too.

Today we have a high end product. I bought this product using my student discount from the Urban Decay website. I have mixed opinions on this product today i will be telling you those opinions and if i think it is worth the money.

The first thing i really liked about the product is the packaging. The product and a free sample of the Original Primer Potion which iv done a review on but the product came within a week after a few days, in a really cute purple packaging.

The product itself the packaging is really cute and smart and easy to store and travel with.

The product is really nice for filling in any pores on the face however the product as a primer doesn't keep my makeup on any longer and it makes any product on my face go patchy which isn't so noticeable far away but up close it is very visible .

I have used a lot of primers that are better than this one and at a much cheaper price. A good one and a dupe for the Benefit Pore Fessional is the Maybelline Baby skin Primer and that's such a really nice primer i would it recommend it over this one. Its just heavier on the skin

The primer feels weightless on the skin and it doesn't feel thick and chunky when applying  the primer. To ensure it wasn't just the foundation that didn't sit well on the top of the primer i used 4 different foundation by 3 different brands and its happened to all of my foundations. It may work on a Urban Decay foundation however i don't own any of the foundations.

Is it worth £19? no. It fills in pores so they look invisible and makes me look so much younger. I have used this on older clients (mature skin is 25+) and it makes them look 20 years younger but is it worth the price if it doesn't prime and makes pores go away if it makes your makeup patchy after a few hours? That's for you to decide.

Hope you liked day 50 of 100 Days Of Products. If you want me to review  anything leave a comment or tweet me @p_a_pblog and to be the first to see what iv gotten up to follow my Instagram. See you tomorrow with day 51!

W7 In The Buff Palette- Review

Keep on dreaming

Hey darling

Welcome to day 37 of 100 Days Of Products.

Today we are talking about a palette I use 90% of the time, its perfect colours for a natural look to a smoky eye. Its perfect for everyone it has a mixture of matte and shimmer shades and every shade is really nicely pigmented.

W7 have really nice eyeshadow palettes most of which are dupes for more expensive products. In The Buff (or as its been renamed Colour Me Buff) is a dupe for the Naked 2 .

The colours in this palette are the best for a every day look I really enjoy all the colours in the palette, they are all super pigmented and buildable.

Iv had this palette since Christmas and its had a lot of love. The lid of the tin did come off over time however with how much I travel and use this palette I don't mind the lid coming off it actually makes it better for me.

The lighter tones are really nice and natural. The deeper tones make for the perfect smoky eye. In the palette there is 4 matte shades where as the other 8 shades are shimmer.

The darker shades do produce a lot of fall out if I haven't tapped off any excess product.

The shades 'Storm' and 'Thunder' are the ones that are most used in my palette as well as 'Topaz' all look so pretty together in a smoky eye.

'Chocolate' in the crease and 'Camel' in the outer corner of the eye blended with 'Sand' for a more natural and highlight feel to the look.

I believe the these shadows would look beautiful with any of the shades patted all over the lid, I think with MAC Fix+ it would make these shadows a 10/10 product

W7 The Cheeky Trio palette- Review

Sometimes the smallest things that take up the most room in your heart

hello friends

welcome to day 20 of 100 Days Of Products

Today we are talking about W7 The Cheeky Trio palette. which has a blush in the shade '5th avenue', matte highlight in the shade 'hot stuff' and a contour shade in the shade 'dream machine'.
The palette is a over all face palette, with the blush, highlight and bronzer. I think this product is best for medium to light skin tones, the highlight isn't grate for fair skin and I think the bronzer may be too grey undertone for darker skin.

Everything in the palette is so pigmented and smooth. The worst thing about the palette is the smell, its a very chemical smell and the only other bad thing about the palette is how powdery the bronzer is.
The matte highlight is just a powder for me its the same colour as my setting powder so that's something to consider if your as fair as I am.
The blush is a really nice colour, almost like an over pigmented 'blush baby' by MAC which is really nice dupe. However this is a super nice colour for summer.
Finally the bronzer is really nice and you only need a light hand because its super pigmented. It has a slight grey undertone making it really nice for fair skin.
Overall I really like this palette and on the w7 website, its priced at £10 however I bought mine from a store for £6

Hope you liked day 20 of 100 Days Of Products. Only 80 days left. If you want me to review  anything leave a comment or tweet me @p_a_pblog and to be the first to see what iv gotten up to follow my Instagram. See you tomorrow with day 21!

MAC Lipstick Dupes

A reader lives a thousand lives before they die

Hello my friends

Welcome to day 17 of 100 Days Of Products.

Today I'm going to be telling you about some MAC lipstick dupes I have found over the last few months since I have started collecting MAC makeup.

Iv done recently a post talking about Mac Stone lipstick and lipstick and today I am telling you about the best dupes iv found not only for Stone but for Ariana Grande's VIVA Glam shade.

First I want to tell you about the Stone lipliner dupe:
The best dupe iv found for Stone is by NYX and its '1000 years' skinny lip slim lip pencil, this I think I better then the MAC Stone as MAC pencils are stiff and drying where is the NYX liner is very smooth and creamy.

Stone lipstick:
Once again NYX is killing it for dupes! if you follow my Instagram you may know I love NYX Lingerie in in the shade 'Honeymoon' this is really close to Stone and its almost the same shade. I do think Stone is a lot smoother and creamier than Honeymoon, both are matte and long lasting.
in the pictures the top shade is honeymoon (its not completely matted down) and the bottom shade is Stone.

The final shade Iv found is for Ariana Grande's shade for MAC which is a deep plum and for £14 pound cheaper is by Makeup Revolution (who is known for dupes) the shade '100% vamp'. The MAC shade is super similar to the Makeup Revolution and both are super smooth and not drying at all! My favourite is the Makeup Revolution lipstick and for £1 I will 100% recommend it. The MAC shade is matte and the makeup revolution shade will dry down matte but its not 100% matte.
